The Armenian Business Network of Halton-Peel (ABN-HP) is the initiative of Rev. Fr. Myron Sarkissian and was founded in February 2017. It operates autonomously from the Parish Council of St. Vartan Armenian Church of Mississauga. Its purpose is to connect businesses and professionals within the region, across Canada, across the Diaspora and Armenia and to connect Armenian businesses and professionals with various Business Associations across the Halton and Peel regions for the benefit of its community members. Its early focus is to connect community members and businesses with one another and over time extend its reach to other communities and organizations.
Our Objective:
Create networking opportunities for:
• Businesses to connect with one another
• Businesses to find talent and open career paths for professionals
• Businesses to recruit intern and co-op students
• Businesses to learn best-practices and seek formal or informal advice for improvements
• Communicate with the Armenian business community through business meetings, events and media
The ABN-HP is initially led by Vasken Altounian, Herman Hacikyan, Vanig Jelilian and Shiraz Kevorkian as it works through operating guidelines and administrative details.
