Armen is an entrepreneurial lawyer who brings a diverse perspective to today’s startup community and real estate transactions.
Acting as a Corporate Lawyer, Armen had the privilege to work for one of Canada’s leading startup boutique law firms in downtown Toronto. He has experience in business formation and structuring, corporate governance, capital raising for entrepreneurial ventures, representing angel investors and venture capitalists, intellectual property protection and general corporate and commercial law experience for entrepreneurial support.
Acting as a Real Estate Lawyer, Armen has participated in many residential real estate closings and mortgage financing throughout Ontario. Aside from being a real estate lawyer, Armen is also a real estate investor & developer in Canada & United States.
Acting as Legal Counsel to an emerging fintech company in Toronto, Armen was tasked with organizing the corporate structure, corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions with a heavy emphasis on Series A capital financing from strategic investors. Armen actively represented the company in external events, including the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Fintech Sandbox program.
Acting as an Entrepreneur at a young age and with a modest student budget, Armen successfully co-founded a technology startup in Montreal by securing clients to his virtual tour production business. In law school, he was the executive member of University of London’s Start-Ed Commercial Legal Clinic where he was tasked to provide legal services to small business and technology startups in London, UK.
